2600

2600 is an unreleased thing about obsolete public infrastructure, maps, and voices that have nowhere obvious to go.

I am keeping the actual mechanism close for now because explaining it cleanly would explain nearly all of it, and I would rather let the finished object do that job.

The prototype already has the tone I wanted: tactile, eerie, a little bureaucratic. It feels green in the way an old terminal wardialing a fax machine in the Pentagon sounds.

Some projects begin as products. This one began as an idea that felt faintly supernatural and refused to leave. More later, assuming it behaves.
